CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — One person was killed in a car accident near I-95 in Cumberland County Wednesday night, troopers said.
The N.C. Highway Patrol said 26-year-old Christopher Brown drove through a stop sign and hit an oncoming pickup truck at
Baywood Road and Hummingbird Place
.
Brown died at the scene.
A passenger in Brown's vehicle and three people in the pickup truck were taken to the hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
Troopers said no charges will be filed in the accident.
