ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — Two brothers are dead and police say a drunken driver is to blame.
Rocky Mount police say 32-year-old Christopher Lynch and his 36-year-old brother, Dan, were riding a bike on U.S. Highway 301 when they were hit by a truck. Both died at the scene.
Steven Putnam, 19, of Youngsville is charged with DWI and underage drinking.
The district attorney's office will decide on more charges later Wednesday afternoon.
