RALEIGH, N.C. — There is a new addition to the WRAL family.

WRAL Meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner and her husband, Tripp, welcomed their daughter, Elizabeth Reese, into the world Saturday at 7:01 p.m. The baby weighed 8 pounds, 11 ounces. Mom, Dad and Baby Reese are all doing well.

A few weeks ago, WRAL.com asked you to guess when Elizabeth's new addition would be born. More than 10,000 viewers took part in our Babyology Bingo contest.

Three people correctly guessed the baby's gender, date of birth and weight. We had to decide the winner by who guessed the closest time.

Reese was born at 7:01 p.m. Michelle Willis of Stem, N.C., came the closest with 6:36 p.m. Next week, she will join the WRAL-TV Morning crew in the studio.

As a special guest of the morning show, she will get a tour of the station and watch the 6 a.m. news from a special VIP area.
