<b>WAKE FOREST, N.C.</b> — Wake Forest police caught a suspected thief thanks to a quick thinking neighbor.

Police arrested Gerald Ringlbauer this week in a house on Abercrombie Lane that police said he broke into.

Ringlbaurer has been charged with breaking into four houses on Abercrombie Lane.

Investigators also linked him to a fifth break-in last month in Wake Forest.

No one was hurt during any of the robberies, police said.
