<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — The Wake County Sheriff's Office said Thursday that a teenager reported missing last Friday had been located.

Matthew Lee, 16, was found with a friend in Emerald Isle, the sheriff's office said. Investigators said that Lee's disappearance had been described to them by his family as "unusual and out-of-character."

The sheriff's office also said that Lee and his friend may face charges in connection with a vehicle theft in that area.

Chatham County deputies found a body in the roadway when they arrived at US-64 and Bowers Store Road. The Sheriff's Office said Highway Patrol was leading the investigation, but deputies would assist troopers.
