Acting Halifax College President To Remain In Role

— There was no change of leadership at Halifax County Community College.

Trustees had called a special meeting Tuesday to recommend a replacement for suspended president Ted Gasper. Gasper is on paid leave after allegations involving missing state money, violating state laws and his behavior.

Trustees learned that no interim president was necessary as Joy Cooley, who is acting president, will continue in her role.
