Pittsboro Man Charged With Livestock Theft

CHATHAM COUNTY, N.C. — Chatham County authorities have made an arrest in connection with the theft of six cows from a Siler City farm.

Authorities say 31-year-old Jeremy Cull, of Pittsboro, took the cows from Jane Aderhold's farm on Aug. 15. The cows were later sold at a stockyard at Mount Airy.

Cull was arrested and charged with felonious possession of stolen property and felonious larceny of livestock. He is currently in the Chatham County Jail.
