RALEIGH, N.C. — A two-car accident in Raleigh caused a huge traffic backup for the morning commute in Raleigh.
The accident happened around 7 a.m. Wednesday on westbound Interstate 40 just past the Wade Avenue merger.
No one had life-threatening injuries, but it caused traffic on the beltline to back up for miles.
Crews were able to remove the wreckage and traffic is moving again.
