RALEIGH, N.C. — The goal for many on Sunday was wiping out local and world hunger one step at a time.
Hundreds of people laced up their sneakers for this year's
Crop Walk
in Raleigh. The 10K event raises awareness and money to help fight hunger.
Some of the money will benefit Urban Ministries, which includes a food pantry and a medical clinic.
Over the years, walkers worldwide have raised more than $200 million.
