N.C. Central Breaks Ground On New Science Building

DURHAM, N.C. — N.C. Central University capped off a busy week with a groundbreaking ceremony on Friday.
Construction crews broke ground on the university's new science building.
The building will house BRITE, the Biomanufacturing Research Institute and Technology Enterprise.
The $36 million science building is named in honor of Dr. Mary Townes, a donor and former biology professor.
