Wake Education Partnership Honors Three

RALEIGH, N.C. — "Sharing the Vision" was the theme of the Wake Education Partnership's 2005 annual meeting on Wednesday.
Jim Goodmon, chief executive officer of WRAL's parent company, Capitol Broadcasting, was the keynote speaker. He challenged the community and its leaders to make school funding a top priority and to promise every child a quality education.
The partnership also presented awards to one individual and two businesses for their commitment to education.
This year, the awards went to

President Orage Quarles, Time Warner Cable and the architectural firm LS3P/Boney.
