RALEIGH, N.C. — Officials say an Airman stationed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base died from an apparent accidental gunshot early Tuesday in Galveston, Texas.
The Airman was on leave after recently returning from a deployment to Iraq.
The incident is under investigation.
The name of the Airman is being withheld until his family is notified.
