Selma Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Teen Avoids Prison

JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. — A Selma man charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in 2000 will not go to prison.

Ronnie Williams pleaded no contest this week to the charges.

He has been sentenced to a year and a half probation.

He must also

register as a sex offender

and avoid contact with anyone under the age of 18 without adult supervision.
