On-Duty Raleigh Police Officer Struck By Vehicle

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh police officer responding to a call was struck by a vehicle Monday evening.
According to police, at about 6:30 p.m., the officer, whose name was unavailable, was responding to a call at the Interstate 40/Interstate 440 Outer Loop intersection when a vehicle struck the officers car.
The officer and two other individuals were taken to WakeMed with non-life-threatening injuries.
No charges have yet to be filed and the accident is still being investigated.
