16-Year-Old Robbed On Duke Campus, Police Say

DURHAM, N.C. — A 16-year-old boy was robbed of his keys and cell phone Saturday night as he walked on the campus of Duke University, campus police said.

At about 8:40 p.m., police said the boy was walking alone near Towerview and Circuit drives when three men, between the ages of 18 and 22, approached him, pressed an object against his neck and demanded money. The men were last seen running toward Erwin Road, police said.

The boy, who was visiting campus with his parents for the Virginia Tech-Duke football game, was not injured, police said.
