PERSON COUNTY, N.C. — Seventeen-year-old Daniel Woodring was found dead in his bedroom in Person County on Wednesday morning, authorities said.
His body has been sent to the N.C. Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Investigators also are trying to determine what led to the hospitalization of another Person County teen, 17-year-old Christopher Phillip.
Investigators were waiting on a lab analysis for Phillip, who was in Duke Hospital on Thursday night.
