DURHAM, N.C. — Durham Technical Community College
announced plans Wednesday to name a new building on its campus after the first black president in North Carolina's community college system.
The school's new student services building will be named after Phail Wynn Jr., who has served as president of Durham Tech for 25 years.
The new Student Services Center, which is part of a bond that voters passed in 2000, is scheduled to be dedicated next spring.
