FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A former television reporter, who made news instead of covering it, has pleaded guilty to wiretapping.

Shea Ann Dejarnette recently struck a deal in federal court.

She admitted recording phone conversations while she worked in WBTW's Lumberton bureau.

Dejarnette could face one year behind bars, one year of probation and fines. Her sentencing is set for December.
