FORT MILL, S.C. — Durham belted four homers on Saturday, opening their final series with a 15-1 victory over Charlotte. Durham has won three straight.

The Bulls took an early lead in the third, thanks to Paul Hoover's first of two homers. Hoover hit his second blast and fifth of the year in a four-run fifth, as Durham took a 5-0 lead.

Eric Munson capped a six-run sixth with a grand slam, his 25th homer, for an 11-0 advantage.

Delmon Young added a homer, his sixth, in the eighth.

Durham now has 198 homers this season with two games left. Buffalo, in 1998, was the last International League team to hit 200 homers in a season.

The Bulls Dewon Brazelton (2-2) battled through 5.2 innings to earn the win.

Charlotte left 16 runners on base and committed five errors.
