Cary Police Arrest 2 In String Of Convenience Store Robberies

CARY, N.C. — Cary police believe a drug habit fueled a string a burglaries dating back six months.
Curtis Baker, 33, and Kandi Jo Campau, 17, were arrested Saturday morning and charged in connection to dozens of Triangle-area burglaries.
Police say the two broke into area convenience stores, where, in some cases, they took the cash register.
Officials believe the pair is linked to burglaries in Durham, Chatham, Orange and Wake counties.
