FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A new juror will be hearing a criminal case in Fayetteville.
Judge Jim Hardin removed a juror and reprimanded a forensic technician with the Fayetteville Police Department. The two reportedly struck up a conversation during a break and talked about shows like "CSI."
Hardin said he does not tolerate contact between jurors and witnesses.
Hardin spent more than a decade as Durham's district attorney before Gov. Mike Easley appointed him to the bench in April. Hardin received national attention during the
Mike Peterson murder trial
