RALEIGH, N.C. — No criminal charges will be filed in a secret payment scheme at Northern Nash High School.
After a tip from WRAL, the superintendent learned athletic event workers were getting paid in a way they could avoid having taxes taken out.
The district attorney said there is no criminal intent, but he is expected to contact the IRS.
About $4,500 in extra duty pay was paid out.
