Traffic Alerts Issued For Morning Commute In Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A pair of traffic alerts could impact the morning commute in Fayetteville Monday.

First, drivers around Fort Bragg need to leave a little more time to get around as the post's semi-annual emergency drill, Operation Orbit Comet, starts Monday. Officials said motorists should expect delays at all checkpoints on Monday and Tuesday.

Macridge Road

will be closed from Chicken Road to Long Street from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday.
