Woman Says Man Assaulted Her On N.C. State's Campus

RALEIGH, N.C. — Campus police at North Carolina State University are searching for an assault suspect.

A woman told campus police that a man jumped her from behind at about 6:15 a.m. Sunday.

She said the man came out of a grassy area near

Sullivan Drive and Dan Allen Drive

, ripped her shirt, pushed her to the ground and ran.

Investigators are looking for a white male in his late 20s to early 30s who stands about 5 feet 7 inches tall and has dark brown hair.

The victim said the suspect was wearing a dirty gray T-shirt, black jeans and tan work boots. She also said he had strong body odor.
