Female Who Escaped From Prison Last Week Still On Run

RALEIGH, N.C. — Authorities continue their search for a female who escaped from the Raleigh Correctional Center for Women last Saturday.

Chapman and Faulker were found and arrested in Martin County last Sunday. Glass remains on the run.

The Department of Correction and the Raleigh Police Department began their search for Glass at about 1:30 p.m. last Saturday after prison guards noticed her absence during a head count.

Correction officials said she escaped the correctional facility at some point between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturday by climbing over a fence near the back of the facility.

Glass, who was serving an eight-month sentence for possession of drugs, was scheduled to be released from prison in November.
