RALEIGH, N.C. — The man accused of shooting a real estate agent in June is out of the hospital and in jail.
Police said June McCoy lured Kathleen Yaggi to his home in Hoke County by pretending to be a buyer. Investigators said he shot Yaggi three times and then turned the gun on himself.
McCoy, who is accused of assault, is paralyzed and now uses a wheelchair.
He is in the Hoke County Jail being held under a $30,000 bond.
McCoy's cousin told WRAL in June that McCoy was bipolar and had not been taking his medication at the time.
