RALEIGH, N.C. — A teacher's assistant from Harnett County is still on the payroll while she faces drug charges.
Veleria McNeill works at STAR Academy in Lillington.
She is one of six people charged in a drug bust at a home in Dunn.
Investigators say McNeill planned to sell marijuana and cocaine.
