CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — A judge ruled in favor of a preliminary injunction against a Cumberland County mortgage dealer on Tuesday.
The state Attorney General's Office said Christopher Wollin of CMR Properties misrepresented property values and mortgage loans to customers. As a result, many had to foreclose.
Wollin's attorneys argue that he had no knowledge of any fraud.
Now, Wollin cannot conduct any business until the case is settled.
