ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — Over the weekend, the people of Rocky Mount helped a young girl make an impact.
Taylor Fisher opened a lemonade stand last week after she heard about 3-year-old Jaheim Cooper, who officials say recently died from abuse.
The 9-year-old wanted to raise money to buy gifts for abused children and over four days, raised $2,882.
Her most profitable cup of lemonade sold for $180.
