FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Someone is slashing people's tires in a Fayetteville neighborhood, and police are taking notice.

Thirteen people in the Arran Lakes neighborhood, where many military families live, have reported tire-slashing incidents in recent weeks.

Others found their vehicles spray-painted.

Several weeks ago, residents in the Haymount neighborhood reported incidents of tire-slashing. Investigators are not sure if the cases in the Arran Lakes area are related.

Investigators said they do not have any suspects in the case, but they are beefing up patrols and asking people to try not to park on the streets.
