RALEIGH, N.C. — Security upgrades are nearly complete at the Wilson County courthouse.
An X-ray machine now sits on the first floor of the building.
Federal officials must certify it before it can be used. County officials hope to have the certification complete in August.
The improvement is a result of a deadly courthouse shooting rampage in Atlanta.
