Warren Commissioner Asks County Manager To Step Down

WARRENTON, N.C. — The Warren County manager's job appears to be in jeopardy again.

County commissioner Barry Richardson, who helped get Loria Williams reinstated earlier in the year, is asking her to resign, saying he lost confidence in her.

Williams came under fire earlier this year for using inmates to work on her property, but was cleared of any wrongdoing.

Williams admits that without Richardson's support, three of the five commissioners could vote to terminate her.
