Man Injured In Overnight Shooting In Durham

— A drive-by shooting has put a 28-year-old man in the hospital.

Emergency crews rushed the man, whose identity has not been released, to a local hospital after an overnight shooting in Durham.

The shooting happened at the McDougald Terrace Apartments on Dayton Street near North Carolina Central University.

Authorities said the man is in serious condition after being shot several times in the leg and shoulder.
