<b>WAKE COUNTY, N.C.</b> — Investigators say speed and alcohol were factors in a deadly accident in Wake County overnight.

Officers say James Reiland, of Garner, lost control of his car along Auburn Church Road around 11:45 p.m. Monday. The car then hit an embankment and several trees before landing on its back.

Reiland was pronounced dead on the scene.

A passenger is in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
