<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — The Durham Police Department continues its search for a driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run accident that happened last weekend.

Investigators said Mario Eduardo Contreras-Alor was driving a van that hit and killed 53-year-old Vernon Bright in the early morning hours last Saturday.

Officers found Bright's body on Highway 55, near Cornwallis Road, in Durham.
