Selma Middle School Considers Dress Code

Posted Updated

JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. — A Johnston County middle school is considering a dress code.

The principal at Selma Middle School suggested the idea.

Under the proposal, boys would be required to wear khaki, navy or black pants with a white, yellow or blue shirt. Girls would have to wear the same colors, but could also wear capri pants, shorts or skirts.

The school board has not yet taken up the issue.
