KNIGHTDALE, N.C. — Teenagers in Knightdale can no longer buy spray paint, markers or anything that can be used for graffiti.

The Knightdale Town Council unanimously passed a new ordinance Tuesday night. It makes it illegal for businesses to sell minors anything that can be used for graffiti.

The ordinance also requires property owners to clean up paint vandalism within 10 days.

The ordinance comes one month after the town passed a 9 p.m. curfew for teens.
