Worker In Stable Condition After Electrical Shock In Apex

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — An electrical worker has been listed in stable condition after an accident earlier this week.
James Strickland was working on a power line on Jenks Road in Apex when he was shocked Thursday afternoon.
Strickland suffered severe burns and was taken to UNC Hospitals' N.C. Jaycee Burn Center.
More than a thousand homes in the Apex area lost power for several hours due to the accident.
