JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. — A church van flipped on I-95 in Johnston County Friday when the driver lost control of the vehicle after a tire blew out, the North Carolina Highway Patrol said.
One child was airlifted to UNC Hospitals because of the extent of her injuries, troopers said.

Nine adults suffered cuts and bruises and were transported to Johnston County Memorial Hospital, troopers said.
The conditions and identities of the victims have not been released.
The van belonged to the St. John A.M.E. Zion Church in Elizabethtown.
Troopers said no charges would be filed.
