Police Arrest Raleigh Woman In Connection To Greenway Shooting Death

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police have arrested a woman and are still looking for a suspect in connection with the shooting death of a teenager.

Akeada Allen, 20, of Branch Street, was arrested Monday and charged with accessory after the fact of murder in the slaying of 16-year-old Tyrell Peters, who was killed on the Capital Area Greenway Sunday night.

Investigators said they think Allen allowed

, who is considered to be a suspect in the death, to come into her apartment, change clothes and leave after she knew he had allegedly killed someone.

Investigators said Tuesday that they are continuing their search for Bryant, who is described as a 6-foot 1-inch black male weighing 165 pounds.
