FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A real estate agent shot by who she thought was a prospective homebuyer is getting help from an unusual place.
This Sunday, three Fayetteville business owners are teaming up for a poker tournament to raise money for Kathleen Yaggi, who investigators said was allegedly shot by June McCoy outside a mobile home in Raeford earlier this month.
Officials said McCoy also shot himself and is still in a coma.
Yaggi, who was released from a hospital last week, is now at home recovering from multiple gunshot wounds.
