FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Preliminary tests suggest a Fayetteville neighborhood's groundwater is not making residents sick.
Health officials tested soil and water from the Broadell Homes community after some residents reported an increase in cancer cases.
Officials found no problems with the water.
Scientists stress the results are preliminary. They plan to conduct more thorough tests.
