Two People Taken To Hospital After Durham Shooting

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police named a suspect in a shooting that put two people in the hospital.

The shooting happened near the corner of Washington and Green Streets Wednesday night.

Police say 17-year-old Rondell Mitchell and 21-year-old Demetrius White were walking down the street when they got into an argument with two men. Shots were fired and hit one man in the head and the other man in the back.

Both victims were in stable condition late Wednesday at Duke University Hospital.

Investigators are looking for Derielle Jackson and an accomplice who took off in a silver Olds Cutlass with tinted windows and factory wheels.
