FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Friends and co-workers of a real estate agent shot while on the job are holding a yard sale to help raise money for her while she is out of work.

Police say June McCoy shot Kathleen Yaggi three times outside a Raeford mobile home before turning the gun on himself.

Because Yaggi works on commission and will be without a salary for a while, Fayetteville realtors decided to hold a yard sale this weekend to raise money.

The yard sale will be at Keller Williams Real Estate Office, 2800 Breezewood Ave. in Fayetteville from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday and from 7 a.m. until noon Saturday.

Yaggi, who was left laying in the yard outside the home, had been listed in critical condition until this week when she was removed from intensive care. She later recalled her

to WRAL from her hospital bed.

McCoy, who family members said is bipolar, is now paralyzed from his self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. He is currently at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
