RALEIGH, N.C. — Track star Marion Jones is firing back at a Hillsborough landscaping company.
Reba & Roses filed suit against Jones in February 2005. The company built a pond with a waterfall, a gazebo and a beach at Jones' Chatham County home.
Reba and Roses claim the Olympic runner still owes $188,000.
According to court papers, Jones said she paid Reba and Roses more than $1 million. The counter-claim goes on to say the work was not high quality and a lot of work was left undone.
Jones is now asking for more than $10,000 in damages.
