RALEIGH, N.C. — Authorities are looking for a man wanted in connection with the deaths of his mother and stepfather in Scotland County.

Ronnie Ruiz and his wife, San Juana Ruiz, were found dead in a home off Highway 74 in Laurel Hill, the Scotland County Sheriff's Office said Friday. Authorities have not released the cause of death.

Deputies are looking for the San Juana's son, 24-year-old Albert Ramos. Ramos is described as being 5 feet, 7 inches tall with a heavy-set build.

Authorities are still trying to pinpoint a motive, but said it appears Ramos robbed his parents to get money for drugs.

Ramos is believed to be driving a 2002 gold Kia station wagon with license plate
