ANGIER, N.C. — A former Angier town employee has pleaded guilty to six counts of embezzlement.

A judge sentenced 46 year old Bonnie Matthews to four years of supervised probation.

Matthews stole money by clearing paid bills out of the town's computer and pocketing the cash.
