RALEIGH, N.C. — Police in Roanoke Rapids and Weldon thought they spotted an illegal drug buy on Interstate 95 last weekend.

When police moved in, officers did not find drugs, but instead found a trunk full of pirated DVDs.

The 700 DVDs included some of the latest movies such as "Star Wars: Episode III -- Revenge of the Sith" and "The Longest Yard."

Edward Sinkler and Samuel Johnson, both of New York, face a series of counterfeiting charges. Authorities say the pirated copies sold for about $10.
