DURHAM, N.C. — Police say media exposure led them to an armed shoplifter.
Investigators say 50-year-old Edmond Parker pulled a gun on clerks at the Hudson Belk at the Streets at Southpoint in May when he was caught trying to shoplift.
Parker has been arrested and charged with armed robbery.
