CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. — Another Camp LeJeune Marine has died in combat in Iraq.
The Department of Defense said Wednesday that Sgt. Christopher Perez, 30, from Kansas, died Monday in Ramadi while conducting combat operations.
Perez, who was assigned to the 2nd Marine Division, died from wounds received as a result of an indirect fire attack by enemy forces.
